As a friend said, well at least now he’ll have to show up for practice. Didn’t do that all the time in his playing days.

I doubt he’s replacing anyone, schools can have as many analysts as they can afford, as it is an off field role.
I believe the other person mentioned in this threat is Mark Voettler, who recently left for Ohio State. He was the General Manager of the team, who as I understand it, oversees the day-to-day operation of the non coaching stuff that is involved with running a team. His replacement has not yet been established. Voettler, and his predecessor, Mike Villagrana are responsible for expanding the recruiting internship program over the last two years.
