First of all, I know that this is way early and just preseason rankings. However, it's getting close to the start of the season, so it's more fun than ever to look at this stuff. I'm using the Massey Composite for this, but only two of the major rankings have been released so far - Massey (non-composite) and Howell. There's four other rankings included on the composite right now - Oscar, Payne, Marsee, and Dokter.

MU's ranking on the Massey Composite is 35, average ranking is 36.83, median ranking is 36.5, highest ranking is 20 (Marsee), lowest ranking is 56 (Doktor Entropy), Howell ranking is 33, Massey (non-composite) is 40.

CUSA vs G5:
The composite has CUSA right in the middle, with MWC and AAC above, MAC and SBC below. However, only one conference has a team ranked higher than CUSA (Boise at 25, MU at 35, Cincy at 45, NIU at 59, GASouthern at 72), and every conference has a team ranked lower than CUSA (Charlotte at 116, UNLV at 123, SMU at 125, GAState at 127, EMU at 128). Admittedly, the bottom ranking is a bit skewed, since one ranking (Oskar Predictive) has Charlotte at 63. The average of the other five rankings is 124.4, which would put Charlotte at 125; better than SBC and MAC, slightly worse than AAC.

MU vs G5:
MU is ranked 10 behind Boise (25 vs 35) and 10 ahead of Cincy (35 vs 45). The rankings of our 3 G5 OOC are 59 (NIU), 98 (OU), and 118 (Kent). the 2 G5 OOC not named Ohio from last year are 110 (Akron) and 122 (Miami). Akron is our only G5 OOC scheduled in 2016 right now. ECU is 63 and UCF is 53. Last year's conference champs are 25 (Boise), 35 (MU), 47 (Memphis), 59 (NIU), and 72 (GASouthern).

MU vs Independents:
ND (29), MU (35), BYU (T45), Army (119)

MU vs P5:
This year's P5 opponent (Purdue) is 87. Next year's currently scheduled P5 opponents are 31 (UofL) and 55 (Pitt). Last year's conference champs are 1 (OSU), 2 (Bama), 3 (Oregon), 4 (TCU), 6 (Baylor), and 8 (FSU). P5 conference bottom dwellers are 78 (Colorado), 85 (Vandy), 87 (Purdue), 94 (Wake), 97 (Kansas). WVU is 34, one higher than MU, while VATech is one lower at 36. UK is at 61.The Big10 has four teams ranked higher than MU (OSU, MSU, Wisconsin, Nebraska), the ACC has four teams ranked higher than MU (FSU, GaTech, Clemson, UofL), the Big 12 has five teams ranked higher than MU (TCU, Baylor, OU, KSU, WVU), the Pac12 has seven teams ranked higher than MU (Oregon, USC, UCLA, Stanford, ASU, Utah, Arizona), and the SEC has twelve teams ranked higher than MU (Bama, GA, Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU, Mizzou, Arkansas, Miss St, A&M, Tennessee, Florida, SC). OSU, Bama, and TCU are all receiving the #1 spot in two different rankings, while the two major rankings give it to Bama, and the composite gives it to OSU.

MU vs CUSA:
This year's conference opponents are ODU (99), USM (114), FAU (T111), UNT (109), Charlotte, MTSU (88), FIU (113), and WKU (66). The last two West division winners are LaTech (50) and Rice (74).

CUSA vs 2014 Bowls:
UTEP (92) lost to Utah St (48).
MU (35) beat NIU (59).
WKU (66) beat CMU (93).
Rice (74) beat Fresno (86).
LaTech (50) beat Illinois (76).

MU vs 2014 New Year's Bowls:
TCU (4) beat Ole Miss (10).
Boise (25) beat Arizona (27).
GaTech(11) beat Miss St (18).
MSU (7) beat Baylor (6).
Compare MU at 35.
