Troubling trends in the last 2 games:
-giving up a lot of points in the paint
-too many wide open 3’s
-horrible 1st halves
-bad free throw shooting (though that has been an issue all season)

Just never could get over the 2 point hump. Great game to watch, even if it turned out wrong. Had a chance, but 0 couldn't get it to fall.
I’d love to hear Dan explain why he didn’t call a timeout on any of those last few possessions
Correction. Our DEFENSE leaves a lot to be desired. 32 points in the paint in the first half is absolutely unacceptable. Looked better in the 2nd half. Just couldn't get that extra umph when we got down to 4/3 points behind.
It's "Danny Ball folks, straight out of the sticks as played by a bunch of "Hillbillies 40 to 50 years ago.
On the positive side, we are only about a third of the way through our schedule and Danny D. has already accumulated enough points from UNUSUED timeouts for ONE gas fill-up and a large FIZZEEE at ANY Sheetz station in at least 9 or 10 States.

We are a mediocre team in a mediocre conference... It is what it is.
When you play community colleges and low-level MAC teams in the non-conference you are going to rack up wins (which we did). Some people got overly excited and took that for MU being "good" or having a "special season," but as most of us realized those wins were fools gold.
We don't guard anyone for long stretches, and haven't as long as DD has been the coach... Last night GSU went the final four minutes without a field goal and still scored 81 points.
MU can beat anyone in the SBC (there are no juggernauts) but as the last two games have shown, MU can lose to anyone in the league too.

There is no defense played by either Danny or Mike's teams for that matter....
Why call a timeout when you have no set offensive play to set up? No reason to use the timeouts. Run, gun, miss, lose, load up the buses.
