Is the Greenbrier classic done for good?

Yes, it is over with for good. They were doomed a couple of years ago, especially when it moved to the fall.

We should have kept the really nice whatever it is called now Nationwide Tour event at Pete Dye.

That was a Top 5 event on that tour and a much better fit. Hope it comes back.

As I recall, that course was much tougher than the Greenbrier too.
Not sure about that though.

The last time it was played there DA Points won with a total of 23 under par. That shows you how good those guys are even on the Nationwide( now Korn Ferry Tour)
