The thing is much like his porn star name screams, Mr Phil Steele NAILED it that year, because indeed we were most improved. Doc's rebuilding had finally kicked in, and Phildo saw it first!

To me this year isn't a mystery either, Doc-eth Holliday has rebuilt retooled and reloaded the Thundering Herd into the mid major power we all used to adore and now are again. Phil probably puts more research in his stuff than any other pre-season mag. It's been my experience fans love him when they agree with his assessment and hate him when they don't.
