    I was more sick watching that game last night than I am watching a football loss. I don't know a ton about the sport but I know that our passing was sloppy, we couldn't keep possession and the guys seemed flat after that goal wasn't counted to end the first half.

    By the way....was not lower in EVERY way. Property taxes and car insurance were slightly higher for my family. and when I say "slightly" i mean maybe $500 combined difference between the two. We do like the Raleigh area...but we would like to move back to the beach...probably FL or SC.

    Disagree. As someone who just moved from Florida to North Carolina, I'm going back to Florida as soon as I get the opportunity. Even living near the Gulf Coast the cost of living was lower in every way.

    Like rifle said, September-October is the best time. Weather is still great. Less crowds and most importantly it's time for the elk rut. The elk herds are very active that time of year. You will get to hear the bull elk bugle.
