Can anyone guess which over-hyped conference I am alluding to? With 3 games left to play they could easily end up 1-7 or even 0-8 in bowls this year.

But, but, but, are not we supposed to judge a conference in mid-October because of ONE fluke win by ONE team over a team that ended up losing its DIVISION?

Is not that how you judge a conference?

I would not know, I never worked at ESPN.

THE AMERICAN!!!!!!

The non-thing.

And after Navy wins a home game, THE AMERICAN!!!!!!!!! returns to form. THE WONDERFUL SUPREME CONFERENCE OF UNIVERSE DOMINATING SUPERTEAMS, loses to Auburn. 6-6 Auburn. Four of those six being I-AA Jacksonville State in overtime, San Jose State, UK by 3 and Idaho.

Now I am totally confused. This must be some plot by Fox or CBS. After all, this was Memphis, Memphis, MEMPHIS!!!. We were all INFORMED that Memphis' fluke upset of a single SEC team in mid-October meant that we should bow down and worship this conference. No need to see how the season plays out, or to judge conferences over a period of time (CUSA having WON the competition as best of the G5 last year). No, we and our league are worthless, all hail the mighty THE AMERICAN!!!!!. One team from it beat an SEC team once.

It just lost to an SEC team. 6-6 Auburn. L A S T in the SEC west division.

The American. The non-thing.

1-6 and soon to be 1-7 after Fl State destroys Whoooooooooston! I mean all smack aside that is a dismal bowl record for any conference. It shows they had a few signature wins this season but are over rated IMO what else could it mean?

there is a guy who used to work for espn that will show up sooner or later to straighten every one out on the AAC dismal performance. He will have many many reasons to out right prove that the bowl record is an not what it most certainly is.
