It's as if there has been zero preparation during the week. Glad we play in a shitty league.

We look small, slow, and drastically under talented.

I hate it when we do not play to our full potential! I agree with you completely about last week, one of the worst showings I've ever seen from a Marshall team. But, with all due respect, we are indeed smaller, slower and less talented than this Louisville team. The Cards look good, well coached and hope they make the championship playoff. As for us, I feel we can be competitive in our league this season and I'm proud of the way our defense started tonight. Saw part of the Western Kentucky game today against Vandy, we can beat them and feel we will win all the other conference games! GO HERD!

I agree. At least we play in a weak league.

That wasn't a team that quit. That was a defense that got tired and an offense that never stood a chance due to coaching.

We played about as well as possible under the circumstances against the #3 ranked team that played heir starters deep into the game so it wasn't like we were scoring against third stringers.

Exactly, Doc played scared and offense was too conservative.

Anyone that says this team quit must not have been at the game. I saw our guys stay motivated on both sides of the ball.

We could have kept it closer had Doc and staff not played Snyder-esque....run run run punt.

In fact I lost all faith in Doc punting from the U of L 35.

I was/am very proud of our players. Played with a ton of heart i thought. I kinda feel our defense got tired after a while and still kept putting in a ton of effort. Louisville didn't let off the gas and we played them better than anyone else has this far without our starting qb and a completely spineless staff outside of heater. His mistakes were that but he had the defense flying to the ball and making plays. That zone defense is crap but overall defense was our best phase tonight. Offense.... ugh i actually told my buddy i thought plays we drew in the dirt playing sandlot football as kids were more complex than the entire marshall playbook.

I still say the targeting was the turning point. One unlucky play to that point, then the whole game swung. And momentum is everything

I'm sorry guys, again I didn't see any quit in any of the young men. I know we lost, but please stop saying we quit. That is just not true!

BILL LEGG!!! You were called out (indirectly) last night by the commentators. Throughout the entire game, the offensive scheme was in question.

Legg obviously either cannot or won't adjust the offense to match the ability of the player or need for the game. Year after year we go through this nonsense.

Otherwise, the team did better than I thought. We lost 2 key players on defense last night too, which didn't help. One for ejection and the other (Ryan Bee) to an injury. I never saw or heard from him again after he went to the locker room before the half. I really hope he's ready for Pitt.

They didn't quit, they were exhausted. We played better against Lamar than any team to date until we were gased. If we had done anything on offense at all, those guys would a had a chance to rest and keep dialing in on lamar
