We canceled the Central Connecticut State game to find a game to open with on 9/2…..
Be nice to have an FCS warm up game before heading to ECU. The Pirates may be pretty darn good if they can find a QB

- 09/05 - at Penn State
- 09/12 - Middle Tennessee

I assume at this late of a juncture our 2023 open date will be filled with a random FCS team... The real question is who can we find for 2024?
We already have Stony Brook lined up, so we need an FBS game. If Spears could line up a 7th home game next year that would be pretty sweet and we could make a return trip wherever in 2027 to fill out that slate too.
