10/20/90, was the last Homecoming game played in Fairfield Stadium. Herd unfortunately lost to UTC. Was also the last MU game I attended in Fairfield, as due to the demands of law school and final exams I was unable to get back for the final game with EKU.

Also on that same day the Reds won game 4 to complete their World Series sweep of the Oakland A's.

Sabo was a second baseman. Bash Brothers were actually the Needle Brothers. Rickey Henderson was the best player on either team.

I will never forget that last game at Fairfield. It was November 10. When I got home that day I learned that my Grandfather had passed away.
