Tuesday, I was walking behind a group of three older guys on a pretty difficult (usually private property) hike. They were at least in their 60s and didn't realize I was behind them because they turned around without doing the full hike, so I came up from behind. While walking behind them, without them knowing I was there, they were talking about politics.
The hike is only available to residents of my little town, so rest assured these are educated (most likely highly) and wealthy folks.
Guy #1 said to the others "regardless of who wins, there is going to be a revolution. If Harris wins, it may take two or three years. But if trump wins, it will be immediate."
Guy #2 responded with "yeah, because trump has laid the groundwork for years claiming that if he loses it will be due to cheating, and since his base is predominately uneducated, they eat that stuff up and will react to it."
Guy #1 or guy #3 then said that he just finished a book about Hitler during the years of 1932-1933 that was published decades ago. He said it was scary how Hitler's strategy and game plan is exactly the same blueprint trump has been doing and saying for eight years.

At the moment, Polymarket has Trump back at 63%. Barring something crazy, I don't know what Kamala's campaign can do to try & sway undecided voters. Do I think DJT can reverse the overall direction that has been cast in the bureaucrat-controlled govt? No. IF he were to win, he would face the same kind of roadblocks that stopped his attempts to implement policy change the last time. But any slowing or small changes that can get through is all we can hope for at this point.
