As the 2015 season winds down, it's unfortunately time to say goodbye to the Class of 2016 seniors. Marshall will honor 18 seniors this weekend in their last home game. 15 of the 18 are fifth or sixth year seniors and the other three have been key contributors since they stepped foot on campus as true freshmen. As members of the Thundering Herd, this group of upperclassmen has won 43 games, two bowls (with a chance at a third this season) and one Conference USA championship. Marshall Coach Doc Holliday had the following to say about his seniors. "This group of seniors changed the culture of the Marshall Football team." Those seniors have wins over Louisville, Maryland and Purdue, two division championships and back-to-back conference championship game appearances as well.
