Honest question for Dems and physicians. How many of these third trimester abortions for health of the mother couldn’t be done with an emergency C-section?

Try to keep up I’m not interested in third trimester issues. I’m interested in third trimester issues that can’t be treated by emergency c section and must be treated by abortion. And just to clarify a little more I’m specifically asking about issues affecting health and well being of the mother

I told you idiots a long time ago I'd be willing to sign the legislation banning abortion (except for when women's health is in danger, and rape) as soon as your party will come up with the money to take care of the food, clothing, shelter, education, and healthcare needs until the unwanted babies are 18 years old. Put your money where your mouth is, otherwise you love your money more than babies.

Yeah, you're the one lying here. What he said was, "And it's done in cases where there may be severe deformities, there may be a fetus that's non-viable." You make it sound like nonviability is a condition precedent to having this procedure. It's not. You either misheard, misread, or you're intentionally misrepresenting the facts. If it were nonviable, how could it be resuscitated? Nonviability by it's very definition means incapable of surviving. What he's advocating is murder, plain and simple.

I am not a doctor, but I do know you can resuscitate someone who will not survive. OP-CPR is a thing. Also someone can be resuscitated and placed on a machine indefinitely....exactly why Living Wills are a thing (yeah, fvck that, I have one).

I believe the governor is being pretty specific. Does that mean the law that was recently in the news is written that way? No. Does any of this mean we do not need protection for the very rare occasions where this is the best outcome? No. As I stated above, I'm pretty sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle of the two arguments...as it usually does in this crazy country.

The NY law was only clarification of an existing law. There were no actual changes. Third trimester has always been legal. Practically every attempt at restrictions has been shot down.
