You g man must be wondering why he ever transferred to Marshall. I guess short of Green suffering an injury Thompson is not going to see any playing time.

How do we know? I literally don’t think I’ve seen a worse QB play for Marshall since Graham Gochneur
Most of the credit goes to the running game as we ran all over K State (200+ yards rushing) and the defense who played lights out. GG made a couple of short TD throws but we really didnt win because of him throwing the ball. He only had 106 yards passing for the game.
K State played us as if Stan Hill were the QB as they played to stop a big passing attack which GG was not capable of leading. Had Hill not been injured that would have been a good defensive strategy but with Gochneur, K State should have focused on stopping the run and forcing GG to beat them by throwing the ball which is what teams after K State figured out.
