all you right wing piss ants better get plenty of sleep tonight

i can completely understand being against Trump and not wanting him president... however, i can't for the life of me figure out how anyone with half a working brain could be EXCITED about Hillary winning......

You have to consider the opposition. If hillary wins, I'll be excited that trump didn't win. On top of that, I want to look into my wife's eyes and tell her that a woman is president of the United States, and then do the same for my granddaughters, sisters, and my mother.

Are you fvcking serious? My wife doesn't not give a shot who is president as long as they are competent. Once again the only thing democrats see is race and gender

glad I married a woman with a brain. She is voting for the best candidate not gender. Go Trump

i am sure your wife is a very intelligent woman (aside from her
choice for a spouse) but voting for trump is for sure not your go
to move as evidence.

Let me explain something to you and the rest of your con friends. When you go out there tomorrow and vote for trump, you will forever forfeit any right to claim that anyone else votes for someone because of the D or R in front of their name. and you will forfeit any claim to walking the walk when it comes to voting for competence. Because you will have proven yourself correct.....for once in your life, that you do not practice what you preach.

You're such a f*cking retard.

I'm glad you can keep it classy, Maybe someone should take away your posting privileges like they took trumps privilege to post on twitter from him. It would make both of you seem less unstable.

Do Democrats understand what they're allowing by voting Hillary? I don't mean the flowery rhetoric they think voting Hillary means, I mean installing Clinton, Inc. I get they've been gleefully ignoring the info coming out via Wikileaks (although they really, really shouldn't be) but they're allowing their gubment to become the very thing they've been railing against for decades. Good job, useful idiots.

This. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Bull shit.

You say that because he is an outsider from govt and politics.

Jimmy Carter was a genius and had been a governor and was terrible as President.

Vote Trump.
Shake the System Up.

It is corrupt and broken.

Send the establishment a message.

Because he is an outsider? I have voted for many outsiders.

He is racist, xenophobic, a misogynist, a failed businessman who has abused the bankruptcy laws, a snake-like salesman, and a thief. His main appeal is to the most base of emotions. He has courted our enemy and encouraged it to disrupt our election, and said dangerous words to our allies. He has likely ties to Russian criminals and the American mafia.

He is a motherfvcker.

You want to shake up the system, you vote for an agent of change, not The Joker. He just wants to watch the world burn.

Let's just say this fortune article is the antithesis of what entrepreneurs actually do. It's the antithesis of how individual entrepreneurs decide what business or area of the economy they choose to focus their efforts and capital. Only a person who has little idea how to grow wealth would attempt to make the argument that a guy worth a billion...should have made billions more. Especially if the basis for such a claim was he was "lying and cheating" to do it.

"What if" scenarios of historical investments performance is pretty funny. It's as lazy as a liberal claiming "well if I had been given a million $...I too could make a billion." Lmao.

Indeed. He has made money by selling his name and image. He is no different now than, say, an actor.

He has grown his inheritance at a pace much slower than if he simply and conservatively invested it. That's not a sign of success.

He can't tax us, but he sure is good at using our tax money to subsidize his businesses. Probably close to a trillion dollars.

Should have been billion instead of trillion. :)

Let's just say if you think a guy that was handed a giant inheritance has anything in common with a real entrepreneur you have lost all sense of reality.

Trump was handed not only cash money but a large cash flow producing rental empire. This gave him the latitude to not really give a fvck if his developments succeeded or failed. Did you have that advantage? He has decided deals based on ego, not sound strategy; one can do that when there is little risk of going from the penthouse to the shithouse. His father was also a large backer of his first large project. Trump became a developer playing with house money...that's not much of a gamble. His largest deals, in Atlantic City, were failures by any measure. Since then he has had more deals fail than succeed.

And yes, I can criticize a guy for being less wealthy than a simple index fund would have made him. Same as you would criticize someone who relies on Social Security. Both are not very bright. Now, it's perfectly fine to be a dumbass, but if you want me to elect a businessman for POTUS shouldn't he at least be an extraordinary businessman?

Sorry you know how to run a billion dollar business and brand?

Cmon

I wouldn't bother....I would have put that money in an index fund, and bang hot women and drive Ferraris...and apparently be richer lol.

I will say this: I think I could manage his brand better than he has the past year. He might have won the nomination, but his name is now mud with way too large a percentage of potential customers. That's why I believe he will launch his own media brand that is to the right of Fox...I don't know how smart that is, the media market is awfully fragmented.

Comparing index fund performance (which only came into being in 1976) from a mythical 1988 decision to purchase as an example of what an entrepreneur's return "could have been" is as lazy and naive as attempts to suggest that social security is an "investment" in the first place.

Doesn't matter whether he used millions$$ from dad or not. He is an entrepreneur. The fact is he took the equivalent of $100k loan and turned it into $10mil. If it were as easy as most (uninformed) suggest, millions more people would be enjoying their retirement wealth in the $10s of millions instead of crying about someone else having (not made enough) of it.

The irony of this discussion is if he had made $billions more, the same people now claiming "he failed" because he isn't "billionaire enough", would be moaning how unfair his many more billions are.

For the record, Some of the most extraordinary business men throughout history have lost far more than Trump. The fact is the average entrepreneur fails 3-4 times before achieving any level of success. The adage of "if you are not failing....you are not trying to succeed" holds true.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10000 ways that won't work."

No you wouldn't have. Had someone claimed such a return was possible, to you back then; you would have suggested gambling in Vegas would have been a better "investment".

I know this because you've made this claim before on past stock market discussions.

Not at all. I have said that for someone with no idea how to invest the stock market might as well be a casino. I also said that someone who is an advantage player or has the right skills gambling can be better than investing. You vehemently argued against the second point, and I pointed out there are ample instances of this being so.

I invest, and I gamble. Some of my investments have been gambles, granted. And I have paid the rent from the poker table on occasion.
