Well, sex sells.
I think too a lot of it has to do with celebrities talking about the Diddy parties in the past and how off the wall they were. So like Harvey Weinstein, it *seems* like a chunk of people knew what was going on and never blew the whistle and/or were in on it or fine with it.
There's always this culture of the celebrities being all important but then you just realize they're just degenerates (or worse). Cult of personality and all that.
