Any if you with Netflix, I highly urge you to watch this film. It has an 80% rating on Rotten Tomato which is a high score, but even if it’s not your cup of tea, watch it for the acting.
Off the top of my head, I can’t think of any other movie with such amazing acting throughout the entire cast. We all grew up with kids like that in the movie (16-25 years old, rough upbringing, lost in life), and every single actor in this movie knocked it our of the park.
Shia LaBeouf always does good work in his roles, but the other actors may have been even better. I still find it hard to believe that the supporting cast wasn’t just a bunch of white trash kids that they put in the movie and filmed while in a van acting naturally. Their body movements, accents, laughs, etc. were all perfect and were identical to how I remember kids like that growing up.
