Very pleased with the quality of the broadcast. Play by play & Color men
Did a nice job as well. During the post-game, they did extended interviews
With DD, Taylor & Loop. Don't know how wide of an audience was watching,
But it was a treat! Go Herd!

P.S. Saw my Mom, Dad, Sweet Lew
& Mrs.Lew on the tube! Crowd
Was loud & into it......

I liked it as well. It had been great all year as I have seen all the games on Directv.

The game was not listed As being online last weekend. It listed the game as upcoming on ASN. The only time the games were streamed they were instead specifically as being streamed and their Twitter account also listed it. I have seen them clearly say on Twitter the games aren't streamed unless specifically listed as being and only two football games were listed as I remember.

This is much better than CSS. I never saw one if their games. And to be honest when CUSA was with ESPN we were never on. I remember one year all games but one or two involved Memphis in non conference games and the other two conference games had Memphis playing. I have watched more Marshall basketball games on TV this year than ever before that I can remember. The only thing that could be better is if the all access games had ESPN3 quality broadcasts. It would be worth purchasing as the team is fun to watch.

The WKU game was televised by two ASN affiliated Fios channels in DC.

The game was on in cincy area, I tapped it on MASN and I thought channel 25 as well we'll. I've watched every game I did not attend, and many C USA games all season right here in NKY.

I told my wife the same thing. I thought the basketball coverage was very good. Really enjoyed the post-game interviews.

I'm glad some feel it's better than CSS, I don't. I don't think they leverage or inform carrier stations that they have some decent college product for free if they want to broadcast it.

They need to market ASN to all carriers of Sinclair if they want it to work. With Direct TV and cable costs skyrocketing and many people in large urban areas using a small indoor high def antenna to drop pay TV they have the makings of a great sports network for OTA broadcast. They could become the OTA ESPN. But they have to market and push compliance to have their product broadcast vs jeopardy reruns.

It is way better than CSS. Only the South East picked up CSS. I live in KY with an SEC team here and we didn't get CSS. ASN has the chance to be picked up across the country and then throw in Directv and almost every CUSA game has been picked up on a Directv channel. The only times they weren't picked up...the games were streamed. I would suggest getting Directv if possible.

As I mentioned before...even when we had ESPN rights...we didn't get basketball games on TV. I remember almost all ESPN picks included Memphis. While a few areas may not get ASN, I have seen many more areas in many more states getting Herd games. WIthout ASN, we don't have many basketball games at all on TV. We had 2 games on CBS Sports Network, one on ESPNU and one on Root Pittsburgh. Add in the several on ASN and that is much more Herd games on TV. The early round of the CUSA Tournament will be on ASN which is good.

Can more affiliates pick them up? Sure but they have to see the need. We have one in Lexington that has picked up games a lot because of WKU and Marshall. Otherwise..we would get nothing.

CUSA needs to improve their online streaming and have production set up like ESPNU broadcasts for those games not on TV. However...there is a large cost for that but I believe the subscription service would do very well if broadcasts were high quality.

Not on Cable in NKY Cincy area. I checked 25 at game time, no dice. You must have sat.

Now there have been a couple games on cable 25 in the past.

I have directv sports pack. I get a ton of ADN games. Two local affiliates have picked up football and basketball games.

I love directv. Best move I have made was when I left Time Warner Cable for satellite. I was always an anti satellite person until I went to directv. Now I am glad due to all The Herd games I get

mostly MASN or MASN2 (around 640). I think another is called CSN and then one called ALT also picked up the games. There are different ones that pick them up. MASN almost always has some game on from ASN. I go there first when looking up a Herd game on ASN. There were a couple instances where MASN didn't pick them up and that is when ASN actually streamed the games.

I see the FIU game on Thursday Feb 26th showing up on ALT (681) at 8:00. MASN doesn't have it listed. I am sure our secondary local affiliate will carry it too which I don't get on Directv but I do have an antenna so I can pick that station up.

When announced as being on ASN, Marshall games are almost always broadcast in Cincinnati. The WKU game was available on Time Warners digital package on channel 300 something. It was also broadcast over the air. I have watched several football and basketball games including the WKU game a few days ago.

You should bookmark http://www.zap2it.com/tvlistings It will tell you what channel the game will be on. You can check over the air listings or you can check the cable TV packages or even satellite packages.
