A heartwarming story. Wanting to help their southern neighbor, the State of Oregon has dispatched 60 fire trucks to help in LA.

The twist - the trucks had to be emissions tested in Sacramento before they could proceed, so they can not reach the scene. It is unlikely they will pass the tougher Cali requirements and will likely be turned backed according to the people driving them.

I wonder how long those trucks would have to operate to produce the amount of CO2 being produced every minute by the fires?

Democrats policies SUCK!

I wonder if they'll accept Fox News' $1 million donation?

Thats not true.

Thats not true.
They were, as admitted by Cali, all required to be inspected before they could proceed. What they really inspected is just a he said/she said and, since it’s Cali, I have to add they said.

Even if it was just a safety inspection, that’s akin to being shot and requiring responding EMS to have a physical before they can administer aid. What burned in the 1-2 days they were delayed that could have been saved?

1 its California not "Cali"

2 There is no "Safety Inspection" in California.

3 There is, however; a smog emission test. That is only for vehicles that will be registered in the state or have been in the state for over 90 days. So where did you get your sources? I doubt very seriously that actually happened.

Here is the article detailing that the trucks did have to go through a safety, but not an emissions, inspection.

So maybe no safety inspection for passenger vehicles, but this article proves you are incorrect. The article clearly states that most inspections took the day with some vehicles held an additional day for required repairs to be made. Hence the “what burned during the 1-2 day delay” comment.

Also, Cali is only 4 letters, therefore faster to type.
Edit with additional comment.

Like I said sometimes you have to get shit done. Liberals can't get shit done. First of all clean the god damn forest up and pracitce good forets management and stop worshipping at the alter of climate change. Get some chainsaws, manpower, mexicans, tools, and clean that shit up. It is a god damn tender box. Second, you need something to combat firest as you are in fire prone area. Limit the tender box(fuel for the fires you ****tards). The thing to combat fires is water. Get your damn back, built some reservoirs, get pumping stations, and have a system in place. Salt water won't work as it destroys the pumps and equipment. So, if you are going to use salt water you are going to have build desalination plants to get water to fight the fires. Not sure if that is a real good choice. But, you can build a damn reservoir.

That governor of yours is a limp wristed queer man. Get rid of him. And, get rid of the other weirdos. They have no common sense and don't care about you or your property.

Get shit done. Oust those morons with pitchforks if you have to. People, including Trump, have been telling you this.

It states what I said. Go away Dork!
Except it doesn’t. You said no safety inspections. You were wrong as the article clearly states that each piece of equipment had to undergo a safety inspection before being allowed to operate in the state.

You were wrong. It’s okay to acknowledge that and just move on.

You're an idiot.

So it’s horseshit you saw and ran here and posted because you’re a ****ing retard. Got it
What's more ****ing retarded? Watching your cities burn because you wanted to save chipmunk habitats or watching your cities burn because the state decided to delay firefighting assistance because they thought it was more important to check to the brakes on a firetruck...

Brilliant.

The original message clearly stated:

I said BS, I didn't believe they would test each truck for Emissions, because of the 90 day leeway. Then you pinpointed "Safety Check" and ran with it. The original message said Emission Tested.

That's why I said they need a revolution out there. They go to stop the truck...nope Kemosabe...that truck is moving on and you are not going to say shit about it.

Like I said earlier in the week. This wont be it. The fires might as well have burned everything to the ground. They worship at the altar of liberalism and celebrate the sacrament of abortion as the end all be all. They mourn the loss of a smelt more than they do an unborn life. As long as their politicians promise they can kill their babies and save a Pacific Pocket Mouse that is all that matters. Most of the wackos out there will want more govt regulation instead of looking at their govt as being a bigger problem in this case.

It’s not a hard convo (see, I shortened that also) to follow. I did say emissions in the OP, which was the story floating at that time. You questioned that, so I did more research. I came back saying it was “safety inspections” but who’s to say they didn’t stick a monitor up the tailpipe while they were doing the check?

You then called me a moron or something, assuring me that no “safety inspections” are required in Cali. To that comment I posted an article that takes to the actual employee that did the required “safety inspections” that you said didn’t occur.

See, when I doubt my statements based on the replies of others, I use it as an opportunity to reevaluate my claims and come back with better info. You choose the rifle method. When you are shown to be incorrect you double down, call names and claim victory.
