I saw on ESPN and NBA TV they've started calling him "The Natural".

I tried to go to a "meet and greet" for Whiteside Sunday at a Miami mall. Couldn't get within 25 feet of the store. Hundreds of people - they love him. And his post game interviews have been humble. Really seems to appreciate where he has been and where is is now.

Nice article on him in this ESPN Magazine. He had a nice dose of humility which he has turned into discipline. Honestly, he is doing us proud. I don't pay any attention to the NBA normally, but have loved watching the redemption of Hussan Whiteside.

He backslid a little bit the other night when he speared that guy from the Suns. That guy had it coming, but he lost his cool and almost cost his team. Other than that Ive been absolutely amazed at the transformation.

It was a bad time to do that.. but, that attitude is what the Heat like from him.. believe it or not they are using the words "toughness" and "physicality" to describe his play.. an article today was comparing him to the greats from the "golden age" of centers in the NBA before the game got tough.. That is something I would have never thought would be said about Whiteside.. I knew he had the raw talent, I knew he could mature.. But, I never saw him being "tough" lol
