Well black lung and Meralgia Paresthetica was not enough. Found out I am a diabetic. Well will have to change my diet and I cant drink pop. Put me on some medication that upset my stomach at first but is better. Dr said mine was reversable.

It's not really "reversible," but it is possible to get yourself to the point you no longer require glucophage (which is what I'm guessing your Physician prescribed) and you control your glucose levels with diet alone.
Lose weight, exercise and learn/follow carbohydrate counting with your diet. Completely eliminating foods typically isn't necessary, as long as you are fitting them in to your carb allowance per meal.

I lost 18lbs in 13 days. The meds hurt my appetite which is good in a way. Never drank any pepsi. I drink sprite zero and I love it. My sugar is averaging around 105.

That's true. All kinds of problems. Mainly your muscles weaken a hell of a lot. Well, you just lose them. Better not strain too much after that or you could get a nice hernia. Not fun, and may result in the worst grapefruit life has to offer.
Congrats on giving up the sugary soda Sisters. The best decision you can make is giving up those calories. But as rifle cautioned, be careful. Losing 18 pounds in 13 days is excessive. You likely lost water weight because losing that much weight in fat is highly unlikely. You would have had to have a calorie deficit of over 4800 per day to achieve that. By deficit, that means burning off more calories than you take in. I'm not sure your height, weight, and age, but assuming a BMR of 2200 per day and fasting the entire time you would still have to burn 2600 calories through exertion and exercise per day. So losing 18 pounds in 13 days (true loss and not water) would be the equivalent of running a marathon a day while fasting....for 13 days. (Average calorie burned per mile running is 100)

But as others cautioned...go at it slow and steady. If you can count calories, figure out your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)...calories you burn at rest per day...and add sustainable exercise such as walking. Then shoot for a 500 to 750 calorie deficit per day. That's a 1 to 1 1/2 pound loss per week. It's much more sustainable and better for your body.

That post just now with all the calculations on it reminds me of what it all has become for me, and how much it sucks. Eating used to be fun and enjoyable. Now it's a damn calculus problem.

Guys I wasnt even trying to lose weight like that. That medicine took away my appetite and not drinking pop I just lost weight. I had not even weighed myself until day 13. Im trying to eat all baked food. Im eating that diet bread or whatever it is. Tastes the same after it comes out of the toaster. Thanks for caring that means alot.

They have once again been decimated by injuries. Finally, their incompetent manager stated that it doesn't make sense how they lead the league in injuries every year. So, they are now deciding to look at how they do things regarding strength and speed training.

Rifle is right about changing my lifestyle of how and what I eat. I had been eating like a hog and late at night to boot. I caused my diabetes. My feet are numb right below my toes. I feel like I have a rock in both shoes. I prayed this medicine would help but so far it has not. I need to walk more. I do push my grandson in his stroller every day.I go back to Kings Daughters hospital on the 19th. That is where my dr's office is at.
