Just curious if Marshall had attempted to recruit Blake Hartman out of Musselman. Big cock strong kid who is going to play at Lehigh, but wasn't sure if he got any bigger school offers or not. Looked like he would make for a nice fullback or possibly a linebacker on a higher level. I couldn't figure out why he went to Lehigh, unless it had more to do with the quality of education, or potentially another connection.

Moss award winner, Princeton Senior High School. Ethan Parsons was offered a (PWO) by the Herd. Who, you ask? Think tall and lanky like Craig Wilkins. Speed like Nick Matthews.

Sorry late to the party, but I just read this thread and laughed until I had tears in my eyes. Disturbing, but also funny as hell. This year has been beyond rough and sometimes we just need to laugh out loud!

Maybe this is like in the movie Bad Grandpa where he tells the people his Spanish name is "Mucho Ding Dong".

why wouldn't you want to go to Lehigh? The real question is then, why isn't he going to Yale?

Saw where the RB from Belfry KY HS accepted a WVU PWO offer and the QB at Pikeville HS was offered by Toledo. Wondering if we are recruiting these kids?

Saw where the Archer kid from Huntington HS accepted a PWO from WVU as well. 🤮

I have pretty good knowledge of the RB from Belfry. He has not accepted WVU’s offer yet.

How the hell did question regarding eastern panhandle recruiting receive answers relative to eastern Kentucky? That's worse than a short white guy making a joke about being well endowed.

Josh is correct about Isaac Dixon the stud back out of Belfry only announced he was offered a PWO from that land grant University. He is still holding out hope for a scholarship offer from a D1 school.
According to Isaac McNamee the Pikeville QB's Twitter we have offered him along with Toledo and EKU.

Thanks for the info.

The way WVU has been sweeping all the large and talented linemen from down in Spring Valley up to the Hole, hopefully MU is able to salvage some genuine D1 talent from the local Tri State region. Getting your clock cleaned on top recruits in your own back yard doesn't say much for the overall image and status of your program, does it? Or at least the perception of a school's program under the current coaching regime!

This is my view. WVU isn't exactly stockpiling trophy and conference crowns any more than we are currently. The difference is if you go to morganhole you get to play Texas. If you come here you get to play Texas El Paso. That's not a slam on us just a reality. Other than that which is obvious ,I can't think of a single reason to pick them over us.

I think that sums up the difference nicely. You could write their recruiting brochure.😃

That, and 4 star talent typically doesn't play in the worst D1 conference without underlying circumstances.

From what I gather, they like Brown, his enthusiasm, his genuineness and the fact that yes, they do get to play Texas, OK, etc. Doc is perceived as old, not that engaging, and now, possibly not even the next coach. Makes the choice fairly easy from an 18 year olds perspective.
I want them all hear as well, and that sucks they aren't. At least they did listen to our pitch.
