Then again he could parlay a bad job into being paid 30M to sit at home. Dudes like Scott Frost and Coach O getting paid millions not to coach. Getting fired ain't what it used to be.His name will be thrown around at every job that comes open in the P5... Given that his whole career has been in the eastern US, and that is where his recruiting ties are, I doubt he ends up heading to Arizona State to take over a nightmare from Herm Edwards... Auburn, Georgia Tech, etc are far more likely IMO.
@The Real SamC May need to purchase a new keyboard and screen. Are you saying there's a chance at getting Doc back at the helm?

Nope. They have busts all the time. Florida State is a good example. Miami. Nebraska. Examples every few years. It is like they lock in and don't do great searches.if he leaves he leaves....but I mean, I was thinking (and I hope P5 administrations do too) he should win at a high level here first...but that's just me.
Haven't these P5 schools seen enough busts over recent years? busts that cost alot of money to undo?
Not a chanceAfter this week we may want him

Exactly! Smith and Spears will see we get a top notch coach. The days of hiring a buddy or faux national searches are over. At least I hope. jmoHuff leaving , which is inevitable, does not bother me. Smith will lead this university to new heights and that includes upgrading our sports programs.
