Things aren't as warm as they seem
None of the natives are buying
Any second hand American dreams
Late at night you will find them
In the cheap hotels and bars
Hustling the senoritas
While they dance beneath the stars
Spending those renegade pesos
On a bottle of rum and a lime
Singing give me some words I can dance to
Or a melody that rhymes

I don't think today changed anything, it just made remarkably more public what many expected was true anyway. The sad thing is that somewhere between 80% and 90% of the U.S. Population either doesn't understand, doesn't care, or doesn't even know what was exposed.
You have to keep in mind that only 36% of Americans can name the 3 branches of government. We are a nation of uneducated idiots, which, in a way, is why we have people like the Clintons, and Kennedys before them, that are above the law. Somebody has to run this country, and since the populous is incapable they are willing to just not care as long as things aren't going to total hell. This has basically been building since the 1960s and I just see it as the progression of a trend.
The funny thing is they said Trump could shoot somebody in the street and his supporters would still back him. Well apparently Hillary is the one with that type following.
