Pretty good article on the damned if you do, damned if you don't for many immigrants and asylum seekers. The country you left won't take you back (or else you'll be tortured/executed). The country you went to won't allow you in (or have an EU statute determining that the first country you claimed asylum is responsible for you, even though they bussed you to another country and randomly dropped you off).

this is on yore kind's shoulders. had yore kind not forgotten about the little man and looked down on them like yore kind has, yore side would likely still be in control and inviting more illegals in.

The issue isn't partisan. The issue begins in other countries and impacts many other countries.

You think it is on my shoulders? Just wait until you see how many Moroccans I bring back in my suitcases to force trump to deal with the issue. i have Global Entry, because ya' know, rich, so I won't even have to wait in line in customs when I land back in Orange County. Just a bunch of suitcases with some Mohammads in them.

A couple of years ago, I reached out to a minister in San Diego via Instagram about offering to house a middle eastern couple (and I think one or two small children) in the residence I am mostly in, after I had read an article about them. Not all of us are deplorables like your side.

They likely backed out because they were afraid, based on yore kind's ways, you would either talk their small children into sex changes or take them to drag shows.
 
What percentage of these folks are truly seeking asylum for US approved reasons? What percentage would be granted asylum under a rigorous review of their individual circumstances?

Also, we are currently adjudicating about 10,000 cases a month. That means we have a 40-50 year backlog of cases. Most people will die of old age before their case is heard. Of the cases heard about 30% qualify under the most liberal interpretation, so that means we have at least 7,000,000 that have come in without a legit asylum claim.
 
We are a nation of laws. We need to deport them. Period. Consequences will be consequences. That will likely deter others who want to enter illegally instead of legally.

Democrat policies caused the surge so whatever happens in on them.

It has to be much more comprehensive than just deportation. If we have 12 million illegals in the US, it would take over 20,000 747s to get them all out of here.

There’s actual asylum and then there’s Biden Harris Asylum and things like humanitarian parole.. those are what need to end, and bring back the first country rule as well.

The USA is not the campground for the citizens of a country that doesn't fix their shit. I agree, other countries need to fix their shit, but it is not the United States' place to take in immigrants unless they come in the legal way. This last 4 years has been a huge pile of horseshit that was done for no other reason than a feeble attempt to increase the Democrat voting base. We’re agreeing. We should bring in the immigrants we actually want, not everyone from the worst places.

You all make a lot of assumptions about my stances on things. Or you all just like to argue with me. The main thing we probably disagree on is what to do with who has already been here a while. And I’d be pretty pliable on what “a while” means if it felt like we had any sort of plan as to what we’re going to do about the economic impact of removing a giant group of consumers and producers.
