Attendance at the Joan

Sitting at sold out fairfield stadium,16,000 people.We build the Joan and get from 15,000 to 20,000 more fans and the area's population is way down. I think we do well.

In my time at Marshall - '57 thru '62 - I never once saw a sold out Fairfield Stadium - which was truly an awful stadium and the team was also awful (and I think I went to every game - but at my age, no one knows for sure).

I will go ahead and start the 2015 - Our fans suck! Can't believe we didn't sell out Purdue!!! Lol!

That 1988 Furman game was probably the loudest, craziest I ever attended at Fairfield and daggone near anywhere. 20,000ish rocked the old place that day.
