DEVELOPING: Attorney General William Barr has appointed a U.S. attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation and determine if intelligence collection involving the Trump campaign was "lawful and appropriate," a person familiar with the situation told Fox News on Monday evening.

Extra is going to freak out and leave the board, followed shortly by Dherd, when the truth comes out. We can actually get back to having interesting conversations about a variety of topics at that point.
Unless Barr is a total hypocrite and wants to reveal sources, means, and methods, it is a distraction.
I am not sure the people need to know how the sausage is made.

This won’t take 2 years and those of us that are informed know this investigation will find real issues.
Herdman edited his OP, he linked an article from 2014. He does it again and I will link the Teapot Dome scandal.
This is what will happen:
1. It will be found someone did not file paperwork in triplicate.
2. Barr will release a statement saying "great irregularities" were found.
3. Idiots will run with that.
4. Trump will tweet that Satan himself was involved.
5. The actual report will be released and say no such thing.
How do I know this? Because we just went through the same shit.
And then the Senate Republicans (if they stay in power) will hold 33 hearings about these triplicate forms, and some RWNJ website will accuse Burger King and Obama of raping snakes.
The Republicans need to pass laws saying the investigation must not be tampered with. They should also make wild claims on Fox News at every given turn on how Nancy Pelosi & Chuck Schumer will stop at nothing to impede the investigation. Also, fund a report that there's video of Pelosi & Schumer pissing on each other in a hotel room in Mar a Lago. Russians, don't forget to throw some Russians in there as well.
