We were pretty clearly not putting a lot of effort into the game at times, but the speed of the offense has picked up a bit. Really looking forward to the first few games of D1 play because the first few games of D1 play for this program last season were some of the worst basketball I've ever seen in my life.
This is my first year not having season tickets ever. Well before I was student doesn't count. Had to cut some corners this year and that was a cut. Really weird not being at the game and listening on radio.
I have been to nearly every practice and this exactly what I have seen all along. This team will be a hoot to watch. I cant wait to travel to Knoxville next Thursday to see us against the SEC. Jon Elmore will be a help as well once he becomes eligible next month. Stevie Browning will also contribute beginning next Thursday. He was suspended for the first 2 games via Danny.
You are, without a doubt, the definition of a typical fan...fairweather, whatever.
Just a few posts earlier, you were ready to drop this team...you jumped the gun way to early after seeing the halftime score...now, after 1 game, are ready to see the team and will begin the process of building expectations, only to turn on them team the second they look like they struggle at halftime.
I usually don't take away much from exhibitions... It's like pre-season football. I prefer to wait until the I see the real deal. That being said, I think we'll improve a little bit this year and I'm excited to see us against Tennessee.
