Beer for basketball?

Maybe this has been discussed before but why can't Marshall serve beer for bball games? We have had it for football now for 2 years. Why not do bball? Makes too much sense and cents.

It is not a "can't" thing. There is no legal reason that we can't do it. It is a "doesn't" thing. We just choose not to. Nobody has ever come out and said why, but I assume the shorter length of the event, the sometimes confrontational close quarters indoor atmosphere, and the lack of lobby space to put in a separate concession facility for beer are the reasons.

It is irrelevant to me one way or the other.

It's another revenue stream. We aren't in a position to turn down any income. I bet we could make 25k or more on beer sales for bball games. WV does it. It just makes sense. It's an event and a place to sell beer and make money.
