Bennett?

No attempt at all. Everyone wants to know what is going on in football. Let’s hear it on both. The answer is simple. No one needs to know. He didn’t play. That’s all that matters.

If the media asks DD, he will answer the question. He said he was hurt weeks ago. He’s not a regular and has been out more than in since he’s been there.

If it was a starter or regular contributor I’m sure we’d have way more information than we’d ever get from Doc.

Bennet is a fat ass and can’t stay healthy we should honestly forget about him contributing anything meaningful

It has been no secret he has a knee problem. He could have to have it cleaned up.

Comment says more about you than it does about Bennett. So unnecessary. He is liked and respected by coaches, players and fans that have spent any time with him. His size would have helped us against La. Tech.
He lost 75 pounds last year and has gained 30 back. Don't know too many folks with a weight problem that have not gained weight during this pandemic. He is a very nice young man. If he stays healthy for any period of time, he will be an asset.

I’m sure he is a very nice young man the simple fact is he has a weight problem. He’s been here three years and can’t get it off or keep it off. His weight problem keeps him from being a meaningful contributor to the Marshall basketball team because of injuries and conditioning. You even admit as much in the last line of your post. If he can lose weight and stay healthy and contribute great if not we need to stop counting on him as fans

Some of the nicest people I ever met didn’t deserve division I athletic scholarships. Being a nice dude isn’t the only requirement.

He is much more than a "nice dude"! He is a student athlete making academic progress. He has played well on several occasions. His injuries have prevented him from developing as a player. What are the requirements for fans to berate a student athlete representing our university quite well?

Getting his weight down and getting his grades right were a big goal for Bennett when he arrived on campus in June of 2017.

He has worked hard and he understands what has to happen for him be a consistent contributor. Weight loss and keeping it off is so difficult, but that is what has to happen.
