For those thinking Bernie is going to run independent, remain a thorn in Hillary's side, maintain his promises of insuring future nationwide poverty........I offer you this...............

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/09/us/politics/obama-hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders.html?_r=0

"President Obama will use an Oval Office meeting with Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont on Thursday morning to delicately nudge the losing Democratic presidential hopeful toward a full embrace of Hillary Clinton’s candidacy and a unified party effort"

How much $$$ will Bernie take to step aside? I would suggest he take the offer, otherwise suffer an unexpected "heart attack". Be a good Jew Bernie. Take the cash!!!

If it were any other candidate, they would be smart to drop out gracefully now. But Bernie seems hellbent on playing the spoiler. I truly think he's either counting on an indictment or doesn't think he'll live long enough to get this close ever again.

or the actual reason, he's trying to push some party agenda items and keep hillary from running straight for the center as soon as he drops out.

I've said from the beginning that while I'm not voting for Bernie, I admire the fact he seems genuine about the issues he's pushing - even if I don't agree with him. If he's staying in it to basically be the political representation of Occupy Wall Street against corruption in government (Hillary Clinton) this will all be for naught. Hillary's gonna straight up Hillary when she gets in office. Obama certainly didn't invent executive orders but after 8 years of Dems saying they're needed, it will just embolden Hillary's use of them. She might proclaim her & Bernie want the same thing but nobody believes that. She has a repeated track record of saying one thing, doing another & lying to cover it up. You're smart enough to know that.

i agree, but he's the type of guy that will try, will try to fight, to help push his message forward within the democratic party. if hillary runs to the center (which she will), that's won't be because he didn't try, he did his part, etc. that's how he's viewing it, i guess.

He is waiting to cash in for a pay day. The Democrats and Clintons will pay him off.
