I don’t envy any Press Secretary, although it does seem like a much easier job when 95% of the room votes for your guy & tries to be as sympathetic as possible. But my God, Jean-Pierre is in over her head. She’s the Joe Biden of Press Secretaries. Which is frightening because he’s the Jean-Pierre of Presidents.

Jen “circle back” Psaki could barely manage with a press she tongue bathed. But Jean-Pierre is struggling with a press that is trying to help her. However, it’s starting to seem like they’re timidly realizing it’s okay to criticize policy regardless of some spokesman’s background.
