Biden Classified Docs Interview - Transcripts, Tapes, & Executive Privy

The WH just recently asserted Executive Privilege against the release of audio tapes from Biden's interviews concerning his mishandling of classified docs. If anyone doesn't remember, the transcripts were released a while back. When Biden made false accusations against Hur, those transcripts proved Joe was lying.

Given the DOJ's history, especially the last ten to 20 years, the reason for not releasing this tapes is pretty hypocritical.

Biden has also routinely waived executive privilege to permit congressional and Justice Department investigators to access documents and witnesses from Donald Trump’s administration, determining that an invocation of privilege was unwarranted.​

Exactly. What don’t they want congress to see exactly? If he wasn’t an old man with a memory problem and Is fit for office let’s see the tapes.

The WH cleans up Biden's gaffes for "official" speech transcripts, as they do for most Presidents. Did they do the same for Biden for these depositions (leave out anything they didn't think was substantive &/or gaffes, statements were he was audibly confused. etc...)

It does make me wonder why they don't want the unedited audio out there. If they're truly afraid the audio will be chopped up, the transcripts could easily disprove any manipulation.

Maybe it's the opposite. A lot of awkward silence & confusion on Joe's part, not reflected in the transcript, would just confirm what everyone says about Joe's mental state.
