Those are not particularly similar considering they’re talking about the exact same event in the exact same context.

Other than wording, cadence and structure they aren’t alike at all.
That’s such a dorky and overused phrase to keep using. You’re the type of guy who says things like “bro” and whose own daughter doesn’t like talking to him.
