All Americans, who love our country, should do the same. Screw Ds and Rs.
Never was a "real" Democrat. The only colors that matter for his career have been black and green....and I don't mean The Herd's alternate uniforms.
For all of Manchin's career there has been one party in WV: Coal.
That's starting to change as coal is less important. If it wasn't changing, he'd be running for governor again.
The modern Democrat Party is not the same party of my parents or grandparents.
1) in their minds, anything and everything is acceptable, as long as it's being dished out by them.
2) they own the DOJ, mainstream news media and most social media platforms, so there's no reason to be concerned at the moment. Liberals operate purely off of emotions and only live in the echo chambers they currently occupy.
The WV Dem party of then wasn't the national Dem party either. Sure, they may have backed the national slate, but WV was always its own ballgame. You didn't have the viewpoint of an outsider, you simply never saw it because that's just how things were. It never made sense to me, until I realized WV was in reality a colonial economy.
