Given the fact that minus blatant use of just saying it, I can't tell sarcasm through text since I normally just talk to people. But since you've gone this far, I'll actually answer.
I never said I had connections, I just did what people on here only like the idea of doing, going to the source and inquiring. People talk about wanting a change or wanting this, or that, or whatever. Instead of being a condescending prick on a website, I simply write and ask about things to whomever. If they acknowledge it, cool, if not? Meh, oh well.
My insight isn't more than seeing things for what they are and that there exists two sides to things. Thats not anything special, thats common sense, which on here, according to you, makes me smart?
What damage control? I've been realistic about Marshall and WV. I've said there are plenty of positives about both, but there are equal parts negative. However, the cool part of life is being able to decide where you'll look...
Look at the negative, all you'll be is negative. Nothing will satisfy you, nothing will change you, and nothing will ever be good enough.
Look at the positive, you can see how things change, are doing well, and what you can look forward to.
I choose the latter.
My best interests? I care about MU, the people, the school and the sports. But hey, if MU goes in a different direction for something, sure, I'll be pissed if I disagree with it. But then I'll get over it, take my latter chosen perspective and move on.
I can't let the actions of a few determine how I feel about an entire program or dictate my emotions...or else its tough to figure out who's controlling who or whos focusing on one small detail and missing the bigger picture.
