Wondering if he had Ricky Skaggs sing at his funeral Ricky and Sharon use to visit them at their home in North carolina
America is a Christian country. America was founded on the gospel of Jesus Christ.
LOL.
Yeah, I remember reading John 3:16 in the Constitution.
sorry but what he said is true. The Constitution is an document that helps govern our nation. It came many years after our nation (1788) was founded by the Pilgrims and Puritans.LOL.

But, they don't like the 2nd amendment. Gotta take the good with the bad.sorry but what he said is true. The Constitution is an document that helps govern our nation. It came many years after our nation (1788) was founded by the Pilgrims and Puritans.
Here is a breakdown of the Mayflower Compact which was signed on Nov 11, 1620
Now you might not like that but the majority of folks who set up this nation followed that viewpoint.
- the colonists would remain loyal subjects to King James, despite their need for self-governance
- the colonists would live in accordance with the Christian faith
- the colonists would create one society and work together to further it
- the colonists would create and enact “laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions and offices…” for the good of the colony, and abide by those laws

They didn't mention what they ate for dinner either, but it's safe to assume that they did eat. Their faith permeates the Declaration, the Constitution and their personal writings. Any attempt to say otherwise is either made in ignorance or stupidity. In countrywrong's case I think we all know which one it is.
He said that America was founded by people who were Christians. The Constitution was signed in 1787 the Mayflower Compact was signed in 1620, What don't you understand Country? Besides that, ever Founder but a handful was on record as having a faith in Christ. Anybody should know that, but I guess some don't....SadThe Mayflower Compact? LMAO!!!!
You seriously just cited the Mayflower Compact? LOL. The next argument to go before SCOTUS will certainly reference the Mayflower Compact.
Our founders never mentioned God, the Bible, Jesus or the Christian faith in the US Constitution.
Geez.
not sure about that Herdman I would have to look it up. It is true that the early Colonists, who were overwhelming Christians bore arms, if for no other reason for protection from the Native Americans. Honestly, that has nothing to do with the statement that the Pilgrims/ Puritans were Christians who came here for the ability to worship God. The issues of the 2nd amendment came about much later. But, they don't like the 2nd amendment. Gotta take the good with the bad.
He said that America was founded by people who were Christians.

The first guys that showed up here were Christians and everyone knows that. After all that is why they were called Separatists and Pilgrims/ Puritans not Hells Angels and Atheists Okay?No he didn’t moron.
This is what he said.
Which is obviously false.
I was referring to modern day libtards and gun grabbers.not sure about that Herdman I would have to look it up. No with most of you all I figured you would respond to Billy G than Billy Graham. I was right.Just realized thread was about Reverend Graham. Thought at first, Billy G was some thug rapper Rifle had discovered down in North Charleston, SC.
Okay, I will try one more time. Yes, I am well aware of the 1st Amendment. But that is not what we were discussing. We were discussing who settled this nation. We were discussing their intentions when they arrived. The Constitution is a governing document that was written 160 years after the Pilgrims arrived. The Establishment Clause was placed there not to keep us free from religion but to ensure the govt would not set up a "official state sanctioned" denomination like they had done in England (Anglican) or Germany ( Lutheran) or Italy ( Roman Catholic). So yes, the people who founded this country were Christians who wanted to set up a nation where one could worship God. One of the motivations coming to the New World and one of things they loved and they wanted to implement was religious freedom and this freedom to worship God and to walk with Him according to the dictates of one's own personal conscience "And they passed it on from the Pilgrim forefathers to the founding fathers . "And the founding fathers took those principles and wrote the Declaration (of Independence) and the Constitution based on those Christian principles."And again, the US Constitution makes no mention of God and the Declaration of Independence makes no mention of the Christian faith.
Are you familiar with what the First Amendment to the US Constitution says?

So that's how a small, hardy band of Christians set the stage for what would become the most liberty-minded, most prosperous, and some would argue the most spiritual nation on earth, all based on biblical principles. Sorry if that historical fact doesn"t fit your narrative but the truth will set you free!
