Black Friday

The hope was that natural selection would take its course but it looks like most of these people are into their child bearing age. That kind of guarantees the next generation.

At least they're not holding up signs on the exit ramp. Bums everywhere. Wait until the bells start ringing. More bums. At least the people banging on buckets at the games for spare change are working for their money. These bums just stand and hold signs. Cops should run 'em off really.

Yep, and this is the "economic stimulation" these liberals are always talking about with their railing against trickle down. They want to just hand money to these idiots to waste on a bunch of bullshit. Thus creating a society where pandering to the stupid is the most rewarding. And that's pretty much what we've got now.

But then we couldn't just give all these idiots more welfare money to blow on Black Friday. The article reinforces the point as it cries about how a wasteful organization now has less of what it enjoys wasting.

It's fine to cut taxes, but you also have to cut government spending.

What would happen if your household income was lessened (same as cutting revenues from your precious tax cuts) and you cut your household spending (same as cutting government spending).

Interesting question. Better answered by asking, what would happen if your net household take home was increased, allowing you to take home more of what you worked for?

You might just sit on it and not use it to stimulate the economy. Thus, you're evil and deserve to be punished. Far be it for people to come up with something you might want to spend it on. You're supposed to just throw it around on Black Friday foolishness. Join the cool people who waste to fit in or we'll force you to give it to somebody who will.

You do realize....."sitting on it" ultimately puts $$$ into the economy? If its "in your bank account" its actually being loaned out and used in the economy for other means. Fractional Reserve Banking.

Unless you little empty your bank account every payday and put it in your mattress........no one is just "sitting on it".

A $2 million study on how children don’t like to eat food that’s been sneezed on is one of the highlights of this year’s “Federal Fumbles” – a report on government waste released Monday by Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla.

The report, called “Federal Fumbles: 100 ways the government dropped the ball,” lists $247 billion in what it calls wasteful and inefficient federal spending, as well as offering solutions for the examples.

Other highlights of wasteful spending include $500,000 for a program that texted people encouraging them not to smoke, and $2 million in misused grants that included $1,000 for customized Snugglies.

The report highlighted the federal government spending almost half a million dollars on the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of the medieval period, with $315,000 spent by the National Science Foundation to study how court rulings make people feel.

The report also found $1 billion was spent on hospitals and infrastructure in Palestine.

Thats called "A budget". A lot of democrats and republicans seem to forget how to keep the national checkbook balanced

I didn't ask what it was, I asked "What would happen if your household income was lessened (same as cutting revenues from your precious tax cuts) and you cut your household spending (same as cutting government spending)"?

Maybe Lankford could whine about the 150 million per year his state offers in subsidies to the gas and oil business in a yearly report.

Yeah, I read about it a while back. And the bankers who loan it out are professionals whose livelihoods depend on loaning it out for responsible, reasonable, and sound ventures. Not for idiots to blow on Black Friday.

But this kills my image as a miserly bastard. That is, if those who call me one understand all this. Which they don't.

Celebrating with a Hang On Sloopy.

Then that would be a smart move on my part to keep from going into the Red. That's why it works with government too. I support balanced budget amendment. Or atleast some sort of arrangement that keeps domestic spending at a specific % of the budget.

The smart move (in Greed's twisted way of thinking) is be willing to unconditionally give the benevolent govt their cut over all other interests. The fruits of your labors are for the govt to enjoy (squander) first.

So, it's a smart move for you to make less income so you can reduce your bills? You still didn't answer the question.

No. Its smart for the govt to require itself to receive less income so that the nations people have more to prosper for their individual living. The very reason this country declared its independence from King George.

You still refuse to answer the question. I know why, you don't like the answer. When you have less income, and spend less, you have less. Ask Kansas.

its not about less or more, its about living within your budgets. if you have less, you spend less. its just common sense.

Ok then, the first cuts you make when you start making cuts to your budget....start with food.
