I just got one yesterday. Any of you have one? Any tips or tricks before I start firing it up? Im seasoning it this afternoon
 
Use it for what it is intended for. It is a griddle not a smoker or a grill. Use on to compliment the other. I have the small one and use for quicker meals, breakfast, stir fry, hibachi. Will throw a burger or steak on it when I don't want a grilled or smoked something. Or, when I want something quicker.
