I just got one yesterday. Any of you have one? Any tips or tricks before I start firing it up? Im seasoning it this afternoon

Yes. Cook shitty, low cost stuff on there for the first couple runs before you fry up some $20/lb Biden-Bacon.

The biggest tip is to season it and clean/maintain it properly. Clean it immediately after use, don't scrape too hard after putting the water on it.

Buy these to clean it. This is what is used to clean grills in restaurants, I know because I used them for 4 years. Doesn’t hurt the service, easy to use, cleans great.

Use it for what it is intended for. It is a griddle not a smoker or a grill. Use on to compliment the other. I have the small one and use for quicker meals, breakfast, stir fry, hibachi. Will throw a burger or steak on it when I don't want a grilled or smoked something. Or, when I want something quicker.
