Blue city defies key liberal rhetoric — then sheds its sinister moniker

So you support the Gun Reduction Intervention Plan?
If the reduction is keeping guns away from those not lawfully allowed to possess them, yes, very much so.

Most people that shoot other people are convicted felons that shouldn’t have a gun. There are laws against them having them, but they have them any way because, you know, criminals. The way to solve that problem, IMO, is not to reduce the number of guns possessed by non felons.

So you support the Gun Reduction Intervention Plan?

So that’s what you call it now???

"In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans Chief of Police Eddie Compass ordered police and National Guard units to confiscate firearms from civilians who remained in the area."

Not surprising. What is surprising is you don't see the racist roots of gun control since you see racism everywhere else...

So crime is going down in New Orleans, just like the country overall? Glad you’re now posting that proof.

They are under reporting crime rates but you also have some DA's and police agencies not even charging people.

We know have reports of hispanic gangs who are armed robbing people here, including hijacking delivery trucks. They don't even know who the **** is in this country.

"2022 FBI crime statistics shows a 1.7% decline in violent crime compared to 2021. But the Bureau of Justice Statistics’ National Crime Victimization Survey shows a 44% increase. The two Justice Department reports have never disagreed so much on violent crime’s year-over-year trend."

Less and less confidence in the FBI...

I'm looking forward to the black gangs wiping out migrant gangs. We also need LA cosa nostra back.

Hmmm...

Another lieberal talking point shattered...

"FBI data summaries reviewed by The National News Desk show the agency originally reported1,253,716 violent crimes in 2021 and 1,232,428 violent crimes in 2022, representing the 1.7% decrease it originally advertised. The updated data summary reported 1,197,930 violent crimes in 2021 and1,256,671 in 2022, showing a starkly different 4.9% jump."
