FiveThirtyEight's election numbers this morning (10/19) aren't looking good for Kamala. And most of their polling data was taken before the Al Smith charity dinner. Kamala has had a problem with Catholic voters for a while now. The decision not to attend was just dumb for a number of reasons (the funniest of which is her decision instantly associates her with Mondale.) She should fire everyone involved with the making of that video - if you disagree, you haven't watched it. Because the Catholics sure saw it. Kamala's numbers with them already weren't great, & that video won't help.

Kamala's decision not to pick Shapiro was viewed in a lot of circles as anti-Semitic. Her relationship with Catholics is room-temp, at best. It's like she's trying to lose Pennsylvania.
