Bowl Game

I hate to say it, but based on the turd we dropped yesterday, we better reach 6 wins before speculating where our bowl game will be and I’m pretty sure that one of the FCS wins we get this year won’t count toward the 6 wins for bowl eligibility so we really need 7 wins.
The chatter about future bowls that may be available to Marshall currently is downright crazy chatter. First Marshall must get at least 7 solid wins and then the bowl selection may begin. Hopefully the team got the ugly message last night and put the effort in to study the films and practice on not turning over the ball so they can obtain that 7-win threshold which would award them a low-level bowl. Win 10 or better and then the team might get a better bowl to play.
So, reading this forum today, I'm seeing a couple oddities standing out. One, the Herd has gone from a 12-0 season with the access bowl to fighting desperately to get 7 wins for a shot at playing a middle of the pack MAC team in the whatever bowl. Two, fears of losing Huff to Notre Dame or Nebraska has quickly escalated to wanting him gone. College football fandom is freaking awesome. Best of all, we all fall for it, week by week.
You are right. That's what makes college football the best! Anyone can beat anyone on any given Saturday. I bet BG was licking their chops when they saw we beat ND. They probably knew we would fold like a cheap lawn chair because it's in our DNA. Lol
Ironically, I'm now seeing that I made a similar post as the one above, over on Pullman last night. Any way someone can keep an eye on me when I get liquered up? Hate reading Pullman on sundays and seeing my posts from the night before. Can we auto set something where I'm not allowed to post on Friday and Saturday nights?
Maybe we won’t get to a bowl, they can fire Huff and bring in a real coach. Maybe Doc will come back.
I say Huff is the right guy. However he is not above hearing the fans voice their displeasure over a loss like yesterday. I think he will continue to grow into the role and we will be happy to have him here

Next, I hope we make it to whatever obscure and meaningless bowl that is ordained, where we will clash with . . . . . . . . another G5 powerhouse, but one from the MAC who also holds a 6-6 record or so, but with ONE of their "Ws" having come against BOWLING GREEN!! Say the likes of, oh, an Eastern Michigan, or a Ball State, let's say. That will give the HERD team a chance to redeem itself for the historic CHOKE JOB that occurred yesterday in Northwest Ohio!!
