BREAKING: Man arrested in GOP doxxing case is congressional staffer who worked for Democrats

Uggghhh ohhhh

A Democratic congressional staffer was arrested Wednesday and accused of posting the personal information of at least one Republican senator during last week's hearing about sexual assault claims against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, authorities said.

President Trump said on Sunday that a Trump Tower meeting between top campaign aides and a Kremlin-connected lawyer was designed to “get information on an opponent” — the starkest acknowledgment yet that a statement he dictated last year about the encounter was misleading.

They were just talking about adoptions.

"It's ok in the case because Trump, something, something..."

Please quote where I said that.

It simply reminds me of Trump giving out Graham's number. This seems to be the cool thing to do these days.

If the info is not gained from a hack, is it even a crime? I read where McConnell and Rand Paul had their home addresses leaked....BFD, I know where McConnell lives, half of Louisville knows where he lives, and we know where Rand Paul lives after his neighbor kicked his ass.

And anyone who knows their way around a record room can find out where anyone lives (assuming they own their home and it is in their own name).

Look at post 11 of this thread. You absolutely say if the info wasn’t stolen it’s not a crime and simply blow it off

I absolutely make it apparent I am referring to McConnell and Paul, and not the Senators named in the article. I am impressed that two people with "herdfan" in their screen name managed to take a big ol' swing and miss; are you two related?

And I am absolutely asking that question as it pertains to McConnell and Paul. I could post McConnell's address online right now and I am 99.99999% certain I would not be committing a crime, as I don't have to hack anything to get it.

No you don’t make it clear that you were only talking about cocaine Mitch and Rand. At no point do you differentiate between the two. You say it’s not a big deal that their addresses were released you question whether or not it’s even a crime because that data wasn’t hacked. It’s reasonable to assume that if you think it’s ok for the Kentucky senators you have no problem with it happening to other senators

Devoting an entire paragraph to McConnell and Paul, who are not even mentioned in the OP link, is not obvious that I am on to something else? You are being disingenuous just to argue.

On to your last point....no, I do not think anything that is public record being published is a problem. States actually publish the addresses of candidates online...surprise?

I do think posting personal cell numbers is pretty shitty.

There is a rule on this forum about posting personal information.

I am bringing that to the attention of the moderators. For the record.

McConnell and Paul are not running this year, or their addresses would be on the link I posted above. It is public information, published by the Secretary of State of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Candidate/office holder addresses are also public record on the voting rolls....unless they are hypocrites that don't vote.
