It’s insane how blinded one can be to reality over their allegiance to a political ideology.
FIFY...not that your initial statement was wrong.

New reports from Zach and Courtney’s mothers.
Let him go. OSU was a great program far before urban Meyer showed up. They still will be when he leaves.
.
Reports are starting to come out that university of Texas coach Tom Herman is Brett mcmurphys source for starting the investigation

And Meyer will still keep his jobAnd now it is reported that Zach Smith was arrested for DUI in 2013 in Dublin. He failed the field sobriety test and refused to take a breathalyzer. He eventually was convicted of a far lower charge. The judge in control of the hearing? An Ohio State grad who is part of the school's President's Club.
For review:
Zach Smith arrested for domestic assault and it isn't reported: Urban did nothing
Zach Smith arrested for DUI and it isn't reported: Urban did nothing
Zach Smith is accused, with evidence, multiple times of more domestic abuse, and it isn't reported: Urban did nothing
Zach Smith is arrested for criminal trespassing and it isn't reported: Urban did nothing
Zach Smith has a restraining order filed against him and it isn't reported: Urban did nothing
Some of this gets reported by the media and Urban fires Zach. Urban is asked about it and Urban lies about it.
At this point, with as much that Zach did to deserve getting fired, Urban is complicit in the domestic abuse by not having taken action.
And Meyer will still keep his job
At the beginning of all this I thought the same thing the longer it goes the less likely urban is to be fired. Ohio state is glad that dj durkin took them off the front page. The plot thickens. I don't think UM is going to make it out with his job. There are too many people involved in trying to be "good ol' boys," and helping to cover up what this dipshit coordinator did. As soon as any of these higher up individuals think they're at risk, they will squeal. Then all sorts of extra shit will come out of the woodwork, which is exactly what happened with Tressel.
tOSU already has the issue with the former coach fondling all the wrestlers and now they are potentially going to get dragged through the mud even further with this scandalous mess. I think it will try and put as much distance between itself and this situation as possible.
Columbus dispatch is reporting the fate of Meyer will be doscussed Wednesday. Punishment will more than likely be suspension. Probably time served so he will be back on the sidelineThe plot thickens.
