2016 C-USA Tournament Pairings Announced

After earning the third Conference USA regular-season conference championship in its history, UAB will be the No. 1 seed at the 2016 C-USA Men's Basketball Championship, March 8-12 in Birmingham, Alabama. The Blazers won the regular season C-USA title with a conference record of 16-2 and have set a new school record for overall victories with 26 (26-5).
As the top seed, UAB will have a first-round bye at the championship. Other teams receiving first-round byes include No. 2 Middle Tennessee, No. 3 Marshall and No. 4 Louisiana Tech. Tuesday's first round matchup will be No. 12 Florida Atlantic against No. 13 UTSA at 4 p.m. CT. Wednesday's match-ups feature: No. 8 WKU vs. No. 9 North Texas at Noon, No. 5 Old Dominion vs. the Florida Atlantic-UTSA winner at 2:30 p.m., No. 7 Charlotte vs. No. 10 Rice at 6 p.m., and No. 6 UTEP vs. No. 11 FIU at 8:30 p.m. CT. Coverage of the first round, all four second round and all four quarterfinal games will be available on affiliates of the American Sports Network (ASN)...
