Camellia Bowl

It's on Christmas Day? What a load of bull. These players would be even less interested than they have been. I remember hearing Snyder players in the dorms say that just wanted to lose to get the season over with. I'm sure these players are in the same boat.

Does anyone really think they care about this bowl game?

The best way to look at this is giving a Freshman QB more reps and an opportunity to go into next year on a more positive note mentally.

Big LOL on the Lynda Carter reset......was smoking in the 70s, WAY better than Farrah.

Or because the game is on such a short turnaround it gives him one more game to struggle and further damages his confidence.

The best thing for this team would have been to shut it down for the season. They're not going to be engaged and for a staff that absolutely sucks at game prep there is little to no time to be prepped for a team that we have absolutely no film or experience with.

I have a feeling that there won’t be a lot of takers when the “purchase a ticket to support the program” e-mail hits the old in box!

Christmas Day afternoon game. Let's see, that gives Doc and staff Sunday to find some Buffalo game film and have a film session. Then a whopping 3 days of practice and study of Buffalo's offensive and defensive schemes, tendencies, etc.

And we all know Doc's history of preparation and being ready for Bowl games. So with 3 days this week to work, leave for Alabama on Thursday and play Friday afternoon. Anybody really expect a sharp, precision packed and fluid performance from the Herd on Friday?

I believe we’re flying down Wednesday, practice at stadium Thursday and play Friday

It's Buffalo, not the '72 Dolphins.....I think it will turn into a positive for MU.

Now back to the Lynda Carter does crazy things with Lasagna show....

If anybody goes to the game there is a Dreamland BBQ in Montgomery. Guarantee that will be better than the game

These are the funniest post I have read since I joined Herd Nation. Thanks guys for the entertainment. I am having my family at my home for Christmas, starting at 3:00 p.m. So I will DVR the game and watch it that night. Buffalo is a pretty good team this year. Their running back has gotten good PR this year. I think he had about 8 TDs in one game. He is 5'7 and was not offered a scholarship by any school out of high school. Good story. I'm sure the announcers will be all over it.

Their backup is even more explosive. Patterson is a workhouse who bounces off people as a bowling ball, but Marks is a slasher who breaks home runs. But he isn't just a speed guy- he's 205 lbs. with huge arms.

Marks ran for over 1000 yards last season and would have destroyed that number this season had they had a full season . . . and he's a backup. With a full season, they would have had back-to-back seasons with two 1000+ yard rushers in each season . . . and they both have two more years of eligibility if they want to ride it out.
