Any camping folks on here? I don't get it. Especially these folks who go dump 50 or 100 grand in a camper. Throw in all the fuel, maintenance, camp ground fees, and supplies and that is an expensive adventure. Not to mention a pain in the ass and that stuff is work. There is a lot of work in camping.

Plus, I here people say well you are getting back to nature. Really? In a Winnebago or Coleman parked 20 feet from 100 other Winnebago's or Colemans side by side in rows and shit strung out everywhere? People say it is cleaner. Well, maybe. But, they run down to old 50 year old bath house where others have pissed, crapped, and who knows what all over the place.

I could see maybe roughing and getting back to nature or one with nature in tent back in the George Washington National Forest or something. Do a little trout fishing or squirrel hunting. That might be cool for a bit. But, this whole mega campground thing to look at a bunch of others peoples campers and dirty wash rags and wet bathing suits? Screw that. No way I am dumping 100 Large in that kind of work and misery. Cracks me up when people go 10 miles from where they live in a 50 grand camper and pull that thing into a camp ground for the weekend. Why?

When I camp it is in a tent in the middle of nowhere. I will admit I am intrigued with the overland vehicles, but those things are $100k and up and I am poor. I'd probably buy one if I won the lottery, as it would still be camping in the middle of nowhere but I would have a decent place to take a dump.

I'm with Raoul on this one. Lottery wins = kick ass RV with nice facilities to take a shower and shit. I think Banker has one, but it's used pretty much as a party wagon.

Have a friend that bought a used one recently for like $25,000.00, but the dumbass doesn't have enough dough to be able to take it anywhere. Drives it mostly from Falls View, WV to Summersville Lake to camp. Fvck that. I would want plenty of lottery cash to spend and drive that fvcker all around the states, pulling a jeep and some 4 wheelers behind it. Best thing about that is getting to eat some decent truck stop food.

Do it right and you don't need to tow a Jeep behind you...
