Obama has to find some way to make peace with the hippies since he couldn't stop the gas prices going down and all the pollution that has caused.

The region is a little more on fire right now. Not that it wasn't on fire for Reagan, but yeah it is a little insane at the moment.
Frankly, I wouldn't care if we pissed off the Turks. But I get it. But no one is going to care in a few days when a naval war breaks out in the Persian Gulf.

If a Neocon was in office I would fully expect that. The ones running for 2016 are itching for war with Iran. Not that we would need a false flag, even Obama is up the Saudi's ass.
...and to be clear the "competence" factor here is not because President Obama is dumb (far from it), but because he is not a good manager. He has an inability to organize the competing voices in his administration, which leads to things like a Carrier Group stopping an Iranian arms shipment in contested waters.
Does Turkey deny the scope the the Armernian Genocide (a la Iran) or do they just quibble over definitions?
Basically, Muslim Turks argue that the Armenians rebelled for a couple decades, trying to carve out their own state; that many Armenians died in battle; much of it was within the context of WWI; and that over a million Muslims died fighting them. And of course the usual claims of inflated death totals. All of which are sort of good points, but deny the whole systematic genocide thing that actually occurred.
Also, Kemal Ataturk is a literal god in Turkey. The idea he could have done anything wrong is preposterous.
