Glad to see he was visibly angry about this game. I like the fire.

Bottom line was he got his butt handed to him in the coaching department. Have to learn how to manage the clock and keep a lead.

We play like that again, App is going to beat us by 30.

They were that way with Doc. Also when they do ask tough questions or write anything halfway critical the athletic dept starts to restrict their access. They did it to Smock. They want guys like Grant Traylor that ask softball question.

Rifle pointed out multiple concerns with many of Huff's hiring decisions and it almost sounds like this was a situation in which he finally made it to the HC level and wanted to help out friends vs going for proven experience.

Agreed. I also wonder if there also wasn’t a a time crunch to get the staff built out before spring. The team itself was in complete shambles and a staff needed to be here to try a pull things together quickly.
IMO In that scenario, sometimes you’re going to take a referral from another or give someone a shot.
I guess we’ll see what happens. Huff seems to be a sharp guy. I’m confident at this point he’s figured this out and changes will be made when necessary

I just finished watching. I really like how he takes ownership, and how steadfastly he supports his players. If I'm Appy, I have to be aware that we are coming up the mountain stinging & wanting to get that losing taste out of our mouths. There will not be a problem getting up for this one - Yosef and crew are waiting! Go Herd

If I'm Appy, I have to be aware that we are coming up the mountain stinging & wanting to get that losing taste out of our mouths. This one could get ugly, the Herd made the same mistakes three games in a row, I can’t see this changing any time soon.

I agree. We lost to a bad ECU team at home. We can run up and down the field all we want. If Wells is going to throw picks and we are going to fumble like that it doesn’t matter.

I haven’t watched much of App but if they have a passing game we are in deep trouble. Our secondary is weak.

Their QB has bounced around a couple of P5 programs (Duke most recently) , so this is his 1 year of extra eligibility. I haven’t watched them much. He’s prob not as good of a passer as Grant. Their RB Peoples is very solid. I’m sure they are licking their chops!
