Game is expected to be sold out but the tickets wont be on sale until late June at the earliest according to my contact. When the time comes get your tickets quickly .

That's the downside to playing teams who have stadiums the size of Laidley Field.

Or it's the advantage of having priority points built up. Just depends on how you want to look at it.

That will be closer than the score. It's a travesty to let them be 1-A. They are still a very bad football team. They went 3-6 against FCS schools last season. Of those 3 wins, 2 were against non-scholarship FCS schools. In other words, they went 1-6 against teams with a pulse.

I have said all along that they will be the absolute worst team in FBS for the next 4-5 years. I'll be surprised if they win more than 10 games over the next 4 years. CUSA should have also made it mandatory that they build at least 20,000 seats initially, 15k is a joke.

I think Charlotte and ODU were good for the conference in all sports but football. Charlotte is going to get beaten up badly. ODU was atleast competitive at 6-6

My heart hurts for anyone who takes pride in having enough priority points to be allowed to pay for a ticket to an away game against a D-II program, played in a D-III stadium. I have a feeling they'll be available in the parking lot before kick for much less than face value.

Tickets will be hard to come by. Couple a five hour drive with a huge number of herd alumni in Charlotte and tickets will be hard to find.

Licious

That is a stupid comment. It is good to know you can acquire tickets from MU for any road game. Given supply/demand I doubt ticket prices go down but at some point the opponent and importance of game will prevent prices from soaring. But, this will be a high demand ticket for sure

There will be at least 10k Marshall fans looking for tickets to that game. How that would cause tickets to go for half price in the parking lot is beyond me.

Sorry, licious, I go to watch the Herd, not the opponent plus it's going to be a very fun 2 day road trip. But hey, somebody have to be a negative force. So good job.

My point was that Charlotte only sends out 1,000 visitor tickets, so priority points are great and all, but most of the tickets Marshall fans buy for this game will be on the secondary market.

I don't question anyone's desire to go - its Charlotte, so of course we all have family there. I personally would like to make the trip and see some folks I know who live down there. Hell, maybe you guys are right and we'll have 10,000 fans try to gobble up the 6k-7k empty seats for this, and drive prices through the roof. Be sure and plan some fun activities in Charlotte if you head down there, though - the game's going to be a real snoozer.

Someone saying "I enjoy any Marshall win" in 5....4....3....2....

I just knew that would be the Bo Jackson video.

Look at it this way, you have a chance to say you were there when Rock went for 250 in a half.

And then Stew Butler could go for another 200 in the second! :)
